This is a fun little "game" that I wrote mostly on an airplane on my way to a Flash Forward convention in San Francisco back in 2001.
There is no goal to this game but it can be fun to play with for a bit. It allows you to grab planets that are in orbit around the sun and throw them into a different orbit. And you can add more planets and watch them collide.
It was written in Flash 5, using some early Actionscript 1.0 versions of Object Oriented programming.
While at that conference, I picked up a very early version of Swift 3D, which is why there's a goony 3D text floating around the "sun"
There is no real physics involved in the calculations here, it is all simply trying to appear like an orbit. The easiest way to tell is that every planet has exactly the same orbital period.
